Project - Junior orchestra practice violins

35 Practice Violins were made for the Sistema Aotearoa Children's Orchestra.

Sistema Aotearoa is Auckland’s newest youth orchestra which is supported and administered by The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO).

Rangatahi Philharmonia o Tara comprises 60 children aged 8-12 years who have been part of Sistema Aotearoa for three or more years. Many of the young musicians have been with the programme since it began in Otara in 2011, and can now competently play a wind, brass or percussion instrument in addition to their initial string instrument.
